Bryans Buck Dec 4th 2010

I know, I know, I know. It's been too long. I tell ya once you quit blogging it's hard to get started back. I enjoy blogging, but I see a lot of people starting to quit these days, and it's hard to get motivated back to doing it again. So anyways heres my first post in a while. Bryan finally got a buck on our land, and I couldn't be happier. He has been trying to pick out the right one, and he finally got one of the ones he was waiting for. I love ya babe! Way to go!

Wives of deer hunters can relate!

Finally a true story!
Here's a picture of the new world record whitetail. It was taken by the cousin of a co-worker's sister's, uncle's, best friend's, son-in-law's, niece's hairdresser's, neighbor's ex-boyfriend's oldest nephew. Reportedly it will score 2603-1/8 by B&C standard and was shot in West Texas on a really windy day, 85 degrees downhill, around a curve at 900 yards with a 22 mag. supposedly, this deer had killed a Brahma bull, two Land Rovers and six Jehovah's Witnesses in the last two weeks alone. They said it was winning a fight with Bigfoot when it was shot. It had also been confirmed that the buck had been seen drinking discharge water from a nuclear power plant. This has been checked on Snopes who confirmed it. Honest!!!
I love how dorky the guy in the picture looks.
If you are married to a deer hunter or any other kind of hunter I am sure you have gotten to hear the occasional (I'll just call it B.S.) story from someone about someone's cousin who shot the biggest, or the strangest looking deer. This one made me laugh out loud mocking all those stories.

OU-TEXAS

Bryan was the only one to get upset during the game.

The boys doing what boys do.

That's my Jackson at the bottom, Cole in the middle, and Lucas at the top.

He just started doing these really cheesy smiles when I get the camera out.

Lillian and Aubrey.
The 2 girls out of our crew. Thank goodness they are close in age and have such a good time together. They spent most of time riding 4 wheelers. I wish I would have gotten a pic of them on the 2 small 4 wheelers.

Here they are on the big 4 wheeler. We let them drive it around a little bit.
They think they are so big

Can't wait for the 4th! My favorite holiday.

We will be going back to Chrissi & Farons on the 4th. Hopefully we won't have another incident like we had on Memorial.

Aubrey & Lillian wanted to take a bath in Chrissi's big tub. One of them decided to turn the jets up. Big mistake! I have actually done the same thing before. Thank goodness Chrissi laughed about it. We had it cleaned pretty quickly. I hope the girls learned a life lesson.

Our new Dixie Dog.

Dixie is the newest addition to our family. She is a miniature schnauzer. We love her very much. Especially Aubrey. She has turned into her dog and she takes her out, feeds her, and cleans up after her. We sure love her so far.

Our 9th Anniversary

Yesterday was our 9th Anniversary. Where has the time gone. Bryan brought me these beautiful roses to my office. So freaking pretty and my office smells wonderful (considering I work in a mechanics shop). We are going to Houston to see my sister Amy. Can't wait.

My most favorite flower.

The one thing I missed about our house in town is that we had this beautiful Hydrangea as you walked doen the steps on the front porch, and when it started blooming I would have people stop and ask to cut flowers off of it, and I always let them. I had one lady tell me she use to live in our old house when she was young and she remembered the Hydrangea being there even then. Now I am lucky enough to have these shrubs on the back side of our house.

Yes this is Aubreys attire everyday at home. I think she would just run around naked if I would let her.

The snake we found in the house.

Yes we found a snake in the house, and yes I am sleeping at night.

It was crawling in the hall going into Jacksons room and Bryan caught it and killed it. I know pretty creepy huh? We are all fine now and we are fillinf any holes that we think he may have gotten through.

Starving after swimming.

He was so hungry he didn't have time to put any pants on.Yummy Quesadillas.

Loves sour cream.

Swimming in the horse trough

Yes that is Bryan sitting in the trough in the background cooling off after mowing with a beer.
Love it.

Love it.

Pissed off.

Really frustrated.
We decided to get this horse trough from mom and dads. This trough has been in our family for at least 35 years. Me and my 2 sisters swam in it for years growing up, and now the kids get to do the same. I ddi paint the inside so it looks a lot better, but since the other day the paint has already peeled off. I have got to find some better paint. The kids absolutley love it, and it is sooo easy to clean out. Thanks Granny and Papa.

Our newest babies

Momma with her twins.

Grey twin #1

Black & Tan twin #2

Jackson loves to hug them, and squeeze them, and love them, and squeeze them more.

Do you have the tickets? What tickets? The tickets for the GUN show. Ha Ha

Sorry couldn't help it. My husband has the nicest arms. Especially for someone that doesn't work out. Anyways we had a great afternoon Sunday. Mom and Dad came over and took the kids home with them and we decided to check out the fish in our pond. We took our little boat out, and I will have to say I probably caught more bass, but Bryan probably caught the bigger ones. We had a good time. Love ya babe. He is going to die when he sees this.

Larry The Cable Guy

We got a donkey a couple of weeks ago, and we have loved him ever since. Aubrey absolutely loves him. We got him to keep with the goats because they are supposed to protect your goats from predators. We have a major problem with coyotes, and luckily we haven't lost any goats to them, but they are brave and are around our front yard pretty often. His name is Larry. I call him Larry the cable guy. He is such a good boy. We try to go out and give him an apple and brush pretty regularly. Aubrey and I walked him the other night and he is a little stubborn, but not anything we can't fix. As soon as I took his lead off he took off and bucked a couple of times and Aubrey just thought it was the funniest thing. He acted like we had just had such control over him that he felt freedom as soon as I let him go.

I don't know why, but the goats love laying where we had big brush pile we burnt a couple weeks ago.

This is my Nanny. Literally I have about 20 nannies, but this one is my favorite and her name is Nanny because she was my first one, and she is the friendliest one. She come up to me and wants to be pet everyday. Now she is the nicest to us, but she is my dominant female and is the least friendliest with the rest of the girls and boys. If your wondering about the collar on her. Some of them are lead broke so we can walk them if we need to. If you click on the pic it will make it bigger so you can see her babies upper lip. The males do this for some reason, and it is the funniest thing.

Our pond is at full capacity. It won't look like this in July.
