Wow what an incredible weekend. We headed out Thursday night to Bryans parents house in Fort Worth. Go there about 7:30 and we and ate with them and came back to there house and went to bed. Got up and headed off for San Antonio early Friday morning. Leaving the kids with his parents in Fort Worth. Got to San Antonio around 1 ish if I remember right and our Hotel wouldn't let us check in so we decided to go ahead and go to the Buckhorn Saloon. My sister had told me about this place and highly suggested we go. It was only 2 blocks from the Alamo and was worth the 15.00 per person to get into the museum. Let me tell you this place was unbelievable. These saloons were opened in the 1800's and people brought in mounting's of different animals and traded for beers and liquor most the time they just brought antlers, and a lot of animals have been donated to this place if you have ever been you know exactly what I am talking about. Lot's of rare oddities, but like the bartender told us. If you like to hunt this museum is right up your alley. It was unbelievable. So after we left we decided to walk to the Alamo. We got to the Alamo took some pictures and went to go eat. We really didn't have time to go in. After we ate we went to the Hotel which was super nice and checked in and got ready for the ACDC concert that night at the AT&T Center. We had found out a couple of months ago they were going on tour and I knew I had to go see them and it worked out perfect because it fell on my birthday. Unbelievable concert I gave it 5 stars. I think Bryan felt the same. They put on such a great show. Anyways, we got up the next morning and headed to Houston to my sister Amy's house actually headed to Cypress just a community north of Houston. Beautiful community and beautiful weather. We had a really great time visiting with her and my
brother-in-law Jess. My sister and I went to Traders Village which they call the Mexican Market to everyone down there. Which is like a huge Flea Market. Went bak to there house and Jess cooked us some incredible Fajitas. We really had a wonderful weekend. Got up Sunday and headed towards Fort Worth, and headed home.
